What is the role of gossip/ S.C. in the CCB?
The role of gossip/S.C. in CCB is really big, almost the 90% of primary have created or transmitted gossip and also about 90% have been victim of it. In the other hand like 85% of people in primary have transmitted or created a gossip. In the CCB have been many cases of gossip destroying friendships and making a lot of conflicts. People might look very affected with gossip specially in 7,8 and 9 grade (bach).

Even if some gossips affect and hurt other people, not all gossips are bad, there are actually some positive outcomes, it actually makes some people feel better, and it is proved that over 60% of our conversations are centered around gossip. Gossip, sometimes benefits the recipient and is actually good for our health and well-being. It is a way of freeing yourself, when there's something/someone bothering you, gossip actually makes you less angry and relived.

Gossip also helps to maintain social order, by motivating individuals to act correctly, so they won't be gossiped about.

Usefulness
This helps our investigation because we can see how gossip even if it's bad, and it has many negative effects, through those negative effects it helps maintain society, because people act correctly, not to be gossiped about. This shows us how, we were a little wrong, thinking that gossip was only wrong.

• What is the role of SC/gossip in ccb?

Previous knowledge:

In ccb gossip is what make people know new things, but not good things maybe lies or points of views that can affect people’s reoutation. But also sometimes people get informed by social communication that is when info is true and don’t affect anybody, but sometimes when is person to person maybe they mislead the information and what was formal communication turns into gossip.

Gossip affects relationships betwenen students very much because if a person starts a gossip the victim will start disliking him/her. Also if two people are friends and a person tells to one of the friends that the other told a gossip about him/her and it is not true, a fight will start and a relationship would end. And when gossip is introduced in S.C. all kinds of changes, fights, and lies start. Social life is also affected when some gossips are created.
